Support Services

Holy Spirit recognizes that each child has different learning, social, and emotional needs and styles. In addition to your child’s teachers, we provide resources that can help your child’s academic success should they need additional support or differentiation.

Mrs. King, School Counselor

Our School Counselor, Mrs. King, is located in our comfortable Counseling Center, right in the center of Middle School. She is available to support the emotional needs of students in a variety of ways:

  • PreK through 5th Grade uses the PurposeFull People curriculum with the three main goals for students:  Be Kind, Be Strong, and Be Well.

  • Middle School partnered with CharacterStrong, an organization that provides training for educators and curricula for students focused on the three main outcomes: increasing a sense of belonging for all students, improving skills that support student well-being, and deepening student engagement in their academics, in their school, and in their community.

  • Weekly Check-Ins to meet the needs of individual students to discuss their concerns, stressors, or achievements.

  • Collaborate with outside therapists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure that each student’s overall therapeutic needs are met.

  • Provides resources to parents and is available to discuss concerns or provide insight to help their child succeed throughout the academic school year.
