After School Program Information 2023-2024 – Now Open!

Holy Spirit after-school care program is a parish program designed for students whose parents need child care beyond school hours. The program is open to students in grades Pre-K through 7 at Holy Spirit School. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to be in a safe, supervised, nurturing environment, where friendships strengthen and everyone has FUN!

All after-school staff are hired by Holy Spirit School.  They are background checked and have completed Safe Environment Training. First Aid and CPR are included in the staff training program.

After School House Location

After School Care is located in the Main School Building.  The After School Care House at 3308 Richard Ave is utilized occasionally.  Students enjoy the playgrounds, gym, and Dining Commons.  PreK students utilize the preschool classrooms when necessary.

Payment and Registration Information

A $60 registration fee is due at the time of registration. The registration fee is per family and required yearly for anyone attending ASC. Registration for Drop -In also requires the registration fee.

ASC Registration is a full year commitment. Attendance can be flexible but should be communicated to the ASC staff and the Homeroom Teacher.

Student 3 Total $6,750.00 (Use Code: Three ASC Students)*

*If you have more than one child attending Holy Spirit Afterschool Care you will see that discount applied at the completion of enrollment.

Drop-In Option
Drop-In care is for families that need emergency afterschool care or occasional care throughout the school year. To ensure proper staffing, drop-in care is not available on early dismissal days. The only form of payment for drop-in care is a check. A registration fee should be paid in advance or will be charged with the first day of use. Please complete paperwork found on our website and call ahead for space if afterschool care is not due to an emergency.
Drop In Student Fee: $38 (Drop In care is not available on early dismissal days)

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. Registration is open June 5 through July 31, 2023. After July 31st, you will be placed on a wait list and notified if a space becomes available. Registration fees increase to $75 after July 31st.
  2. Payments are collected from August 15 – April 15.
  3. We have built-in snow days.  If school is out more than the allotted unscheduled snow days, your fee will be adjusted.

CANCELLATION POLICY

ASC is a full year commitment but we understand sometimes circumstances change. Special Circumstance cancellations will need approval. To cancel ASC you will pay a $100 cancellation fee per student. If reenrollment becomes necessary a $60 registration fee will be collected at time of 2nd registration for the same school year. You will need to contact Angie Hiland for any changes in circumstance ie: job loss, leaving Holy Spirit School, etc.
