"The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed...it is the fount from which all of the Church's power flows."   Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy, Vatican Council

The life of the Holy Spirit community is
centered in the celebration of liturgy. In song,
in word, in action, the family of faith joyfully
gathers to worship God.

We sing God's praises with organ, bells,
choirs, and instruments of all types. With
voices young and old, we sing the music
of the Church ancient and new.

We are many parts, we are all one body.

Many opportunities exist for volunteers in
ministry. Decorators, Giftbearers, Greeters,
hospitality ministers, and lectors all contribute
to making our worship beautiful and
Christ-centered.

Our various choirs offer a special opportunity
to enhance our worship with music.

The Spirit Singers is our adult choir which
assists the assembly in song while also
singing sacred choral literature of all periods
and styles.

The Spirit Ringers handbell ensemble offers
a unique opportunity to play four octaves of Malmark handbells in hymns, service music,
and handbell literature.

The Spirit Youth Singers choir is open to
children grades 4 through 8. The Choir sings
music of all styles while also serving as the
treble choir for the Spirit SIngers.

The Spirit Ensemble is a folk ensemble
of guitars, keyboard, instruments and voices
which joyfully praises God in song at our
7:00p.m. Sunday liturgy.

People with special musical talent may serve
as cantor or instrumentalist (trumpet, flute, violin)
at our many parish liturgies. We invite you to
share your talent with us in praising
our God in music!
