Life offers parishioners the opportunity to
participate in a variety of ministries. Some of these ministries are:

Book Club
Participants
meet for lunch every other month at a restaurant selected by the group
to discuss a book also selected by the group.
|
|
|
|
The
Welcome Ministry
Members
of this group reach out
to new members of the parish. They create and send welcome
letters and deliver gift bags for new members. They greet new members
each month at coffee and donuts. The Welcome Ministry
encourages newcomers to participate in parish events throughout the
year.
|
|
|
|
Hospitality
Committee
Provides
a friendly
and hospitable atmosphere while also
serving food when hosting parish events. This group helps
coordinate
such events as brunches, receptions, pot lucks, “coffee and donuts” and
socials.
Members
of this
group volunteer to
plan and host a variety of events that enable us to celebrate with our
parish community.

Men's Group
Offers
opportunities for social and service activities, and allows time for
its members to focus on day-to-day spirituality. Men can bring thoughts
and experiences together on a regular basis and discuss, listen, and
share them with each other.
Meeting:
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Members gather
both at the parish and on “field trips” as scheduled. |

M.O.M.S. Group
Mothers of young
children meet
for discussion, support and prayer with other mothers who are facing
the rewards and challenges of raising a family. Meetings are held
on alternate Thursday mornings during the school year from
9:30am-11:00am

|
| Spirited Citizens
This group
provides social,
spiritual and service activities for those 55 and older. Meetings are
held on the first Friday of every other month. Day trips take
place throughout the year.

Supper Club
Offers an
opportunity to meet
other parishioners, for example, brings school and non-school families
together as well as the young, elders, single, etc. Four households are
grouped together.
|
|
Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee is made up of a group of parish
members who are committed to promoting stewardship throughout the
parish. The Committee offers direct assistance to ministry leaders;
assists new members identify and become active in our parish
activities; and provides leadership and support in the creation
of new ministries to meet the needs of our growing parish community.
Committee members participate in quarterly new member welcome meetings;
develop and participate in parish-wide service projects (i.e.
Habitat for Humanity) to complement the other service ministries in the
parish and plan yearly “Spotlight on Stewardship” events for the
parish community. Unlimited volunteers are needed to meet the
goals of the committee.
Bereavement Committee
To give support to families at the death of a loved one. Care and
support are demonstrated by offering food to the families; offering
prayers at the funeral home; and attending the funeral Mass. Assistance
is needed in gathering meat trays, preparing and delivering salads and
desserts, making telephone calls and attending services.
Follow-up cards are sent at intervals throughout the first year.

Brunch
Bunch
Offers an opportunity to meet other members, for example, brings school
and non-school families together as well as the young, elders, single,
etc. Four households are grouped together. This may appeal to
parishioners who cannot participate in the Supper Club, but Brunch
Bunch may be done along with being in Supper Club.
